Hey, You … Fuck Your Band (I’m BACK!)
Splinternets! Who put you on this website?
For the next few weeks, I will be posting entries from my new blog as I get ready to actually CLOSE this forever. I will be linking to my new blog page and calling out all those bands you like that are actually a bunch of dicks (go team!).
I used to super dig Tumblr, then all these people followed me, so I followed them back like a good interneter. Turns out that these people are borderline fucktarded and most of them re-blogged garbage that made me want to kill the Internet (also, my career).
So, for the few stragglers that remain hung on my words, as I gear up to close down, please enjoy my writings and stuff.
More to follow …

Who Likes Radio Friendly Pop-Punk?
Since the fall of 2010 (sounds more epic than saying ‘since October’), I have been writing and recording music under the umbrella of the band; My First Stereo. It has been a pretty fun time, thus far. Working with my friend and now house mate Mitchell Ray, we have developed and created a really nice working environment inside a renovated summer house in his garden. We call it; The Shedio. Whenever I try and describe it, it comes out like this;
‘The Shedio is a time capsule, aside form our computer set-up for recording, all sources of entertainment are retro. Nintendo, VHS, Game Boys and YoYos’ - Me, Everyday.
Mitch and I are ‘American Pie’ generation kids. We both have siblings 7 years our senior that influenced a lot of our tastes in media. Culminating in two very similar thought processes and a very solid goal; Make Pop-Punk Music, Man. We are inspired by likes of Blink82, Sum41, Student Rick, Dynamite Boy, SR71 and American Hi-Fi.
Follow this link to hear our first single ‘From Here It’s Goodbye’ which is still available for purchase with proceeds going to charity.

Age Old Theory
I love music, we all know this.
Never have I made it a secret that I walk aimlessly round towns with my headphones on at strange hours of the night in an attempt to re-kindle and re-imagine the avenues of youth, down which I once walked. It was a cocktail of pop-rock and their ballads that soundtracked my excursions.
With new albums coming out and me no longer living in the town that I once did, I find myself detached from the moment and starting to pine for it more than I do for Pepsi Max.
California rioters Hollywood Undead, known for their hard hitting and bass laden anthems of the glorification in sex, drugs & rock’n’roll have released a new record. It’s note for note pretty much their previous effort but with less cussing. That said, 2 tracks that jump at you and stand out as comprehensive tracks are softer and more bittersweet tracks.
‘Pour Me’ is soft and melodramatic self loathing track that just works. As a 20something with no teenage years left to live, I am still able to see how this would hit an adolescent kid with no future. This is the kind of song that is perfect for twilight walking round a sleepy town and feeling pretty sure you are the only person awake at that time. A fantastic blend of harmony, piano, soft rapping and angelic harmony.
The other stand out track is called ‘Bullet’ and is a conflicting track and a stroke of craftsmanship excellence. The song itself as lyrics is a suicidal song. Boasting a stomach full of pills and sitting on the edge of a 20 story building, you would assume this could not be going well. What you are met with as a tune is a juxtaposed melody. Best described as a Jason Mraz and Eminem duet, Bullet is a catchy, bouncy and foot tapping anthem of disillusion. It just so happens to have Beach Boys harmony and suicidal lyrics. Nailing the controversy coffin shut is finishing the track with a child singing ‘I wish that I could fly way up in the sky, oh i might just try’.

@spookykate-deactivated20130427 "So did you ever get your shoes?
I have money to send to your shoe fund finally but now I can't find it."
Hey Kate!
I am no longer seeking shoe funds as more important things needed attention. We are now selling our first single for charity. Anything over 50 coins and it’s yours. All the money goes to charity!
